Defence-Ready Indigenous Supplier List

Defence is establishing a Defence-Ready Indigenous Supplier List to help identify eligible Indigenous construction businesses for future facilities and infrastructure projects valued at $4 million and above.
This opportunity is being delivered through a Request for Information (RFI AZ6621) and is not a tender. The list will help Defence and its head contractors identify businesses that may be approached for future project opportunities.
Eligible businesses may include Indigenous Enterprises that are small to medium enterprises and hold, or have applied for, WHS Accreditation Scheme accreditation through the Federal Safety Commissioner.
Relevant work areas may include airfields, heavy civil works, fuel infrastructure, marine works, engineering services, utilities, explosive ordnance facilities, UXO, PFAS and environmental remediation.
Businesses can register interest as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or both.
Responses close at 12:00pm Canberra time on Friday, 24 July 2026.
